I have to thank my dear friend René Britt for commissioning the painting above, my first red guitar in acrylic on canvas. It was a gift for her husband, Danny in 2007. I loved this red guitar paintings so much that I created a series called "The Red Guitar Series" and I have painted many, many more. I think this one remains my favorite.

Music became my muse and art seemed to have followed the music.
My music series has become my most popular with good reason.
I love music and feel sure that if I were not an artist, I would be a musician.
